MEXICO CITY, SEPTEMBER 27-28, 2018CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Following a successful 2017 launch of Metropolis North America (MNA) in Washington, DC, we are pleased to announce the next Metropolis North America policy forum: Expanding Cooperation on Migration: People, Economy and Security in the United States, Mexico and Canada. This multilateral initiative aims to promote open and constructive dialogue among policy-makers, researchers, and practitioners on issues affecting all three countries. Longstanding migration flows to and through North America are changing. The dynamic interplay between changing patterns and policy responses call for fresh thinking across borders. Building on the foundation set in Washington, the 2018 MNA Forum seeks to examine migration through a continental lens and illuminate new ways to approach policy and cooperation relating to the movement of people, economic growth, and security.
Please find attached the call for proposals. Submissions are invited through June 29, 2018. For more information about Metropolis North America, please visit: http://www.metropolisconference.ca
