Attention University of California Graduate Students: The deadline for the Research Training Workshop, part of the Summer Institute on Migration and Global Health, has been extended. The new deadline isMay 5th.
The Workshop is a great opportunity for graduate students and postdocs to present their work related to migration and health to peers and UC faculty members, receive feedback, and network with people across the UC system. Students participating in the Research Training Workshop should register for the Summer Institute. Scholarships available.

The Summer Institute on Migration and Global Health is a unique opportunity for professionals and students from all over the world to learn the latest facts and figures on the many issues that affect mobile populations. Through a combination of lectures and workshops, experts will present on the relationship between migration and global health, offering public health, public policy, and social science perspectives.
Presenters include representatives from international and national institutions such as the World Health Organization, the International Organization for Migration, the Secretariats of Health and Foreign Affairs of Mexico, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and respected professors from universities in Spain, Mexico, and the United States.
