With Screening of the Movie «Iron Fist»

The timeless camp of «Reefer Madness» is balanced by genuine mystery and absorbing drama in «El Puño de Hierro» («The Iron Fist»), director Gabriel García Moreno’s 1927 tale of a young couple locked into a damning world of vice. Introduced to the euphoric effects of morphine by a mysterious doctor, the couple soon becomes involved in a malevolent kidnapping plot while navigating a dark underworld of drug dens and forbidden pleasures. In this version of the film, Tijuana-based electronica specialists Nortec Collective retool the soundtrack by blending traditional Mexican music with contemporary beats. There will be an after party held at The Loft.
