Rihan Yeh is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies. She received her Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Chicago in 2009. Her research is on the public sphere in Tijuana, Mexico; she is currently developing her dissertation (Passing: An Ethnography of Status, Self and the Public in a Mexican Border City) into a book manuscript. She has published an article titled, «We’re Mexican Too’: Publicity and Status at the International Line,» and has another forthcoming, on «A Middle-Class Public at Mexico’s Northern Border.»
