Sponsors Direly Needed by May 15th for
CMSC’s Advance Parole Campaign 

The CMSC’s Campaign to restore DACA’s Advance Parole will return to Washington DC for the second phase of advocacy with a delegation of 50 Dreamers from throughout the United States, who will continue to pressure the Trump Administration to grant international travel authorization to DACA recipients for educational, humanitarian, and employment reasons, as provided under the original terms of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

As indicated in the solicitation letter below we are in dire need to secure sponsors to cover at least $500 to cover room and board for each Dreamer that will participate in the week long mobilization in Washington, DC from June 10 to 13, 2019.

We have received more than 60 applications, yet we only have 10 committed sponsors. Please consider sponsoring at least one dreamers and share this with other possible sponsors. Instructions to pledge sponsorships and donations to the AP Campaign:

How Many Unauthorized Immigrants Graduate from U.S. High Schools Annually ? 

Executive Summary
 
Dating back to 2001 and in nearly every legislative session since, bills have been introduced in Congress that would offer a pathway to legal status to hundreds of thousands of eligible unauthorized immigrants who arrived in the United States as children, provided they earn a high school diploma or its equivalent. Yet to date, despite significant bipartisan support to legalize a population viewed as particularly meritorious, Congress has yet to act.
