This is GERPISA’s first conference in Detroit, the historic heart of the modern industry.
The conference will provide joint in-person/virtual paper and plenary sessions in the morning, to enable participation by those unable to attend in person.
Afternoons and evenings will focus on in-person events, such as visits to historic industry sites, factories, R&D centers and meetings with regulators.
The main theme of the conference is “The Auto Industry: Entering a Post-pandemic World” with three research tracks:
Challenges for Labor in a World of Shifting Trade and Technology
Safety, Emissions and Emerging Issues for Autonomous Technologies and Mobility as a Service
New Technologies and the Evolution of the Value Chain
A selection of the best papers presented during the colloquium, including the winner of the young author’s prize will be included in a special issue of the International Journal of Automotive Technology and Management (IJATM).
