Imke Harbers, USMEX visiting fellow, will present «Facing up to Multi-level Politics: Political Finance and Party Strategy in Mexico.»
Joy Langston, USMEX visiting fellow, will present «From Delegation to Power-Sharing: Changes in the Candidate Selection Process in Mexico.»

Steve Wuhs, Associate Professor of Government and Director of Latin American Studies, University of Redlands

Imke Harbers is a visiting fellow at the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies. She earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Leiden University in the Netherlands. After her residence, she will take a position at the University of Amsterdam as an assistant professor of political science. Dr. Harbers will present a paper titled, «Facing up to Multi-level Politics: Political Finance and Party Strategy in Mexico.» Joy Langston is also a visiting fellow at the Center. She received a Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University. She is a professor of political science at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE). Dr. Langston will present her paper «From Delegation to Power-Sharing: Changes in the Candidate Selection Process in Mexico.»
