Giving Thanks on Thanksgiving
The CMSC Team and the 83 Dreamers participating in our Winter 2020 Study Abroad Program want to wish everyone a safe and healthy Thanksgiving Holiday week.
Despite the challenging times of a year-long pandemic and the 4-year Trump nightmare:
We are thankful for being alive and for the creator’s blessings
We celebrate the election of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris
We are grateful for them bringing an end to Trump’s era of hate and racism in the United States
We cherish the lives of more than 250,000 casualties and 12.5 million infected by COVID-19 in the U.S.
We are optimistic and rejoice with a bright future for the U.S. and the world despite the millions infected and killed by the pandemic
We are hopeful for the dawn of a new civil rights movement to end all forms of discrimination in the U.S. and the world
We look forward to the release of all caged immigrant children and reunifying them with their parents and families in the U.S.
We plea for an inclusive immigration reform with a path to citizenship for all undocumented workers and families in the U.S.
We celebrate the restoration of DACA as originally established in 2012 and our success restoring DACA’s Advance Parole
Most important, we celebrate and appreciate the support that we have received from our sponsors and donors for our past and future Dreamers’ Study Abroad programs !!!
