Claudia Rodríguez-Solórzano is a Visiting Fellow at the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies. She completed her Ph.D. in natural environment at the University of Michigan in 2011 and she received a B.A. in economics from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) in 1996. In 2001, she obtained her master’s in public policy from the University of Chicago. She was a visiting scholar at the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis at Indiana University during 2010-2011. She has received fellowships from University of Michigan and the U.S. National Science Foundation for her research in transboundary protected areas in Mexico, Guatemala, and across the Americas.
