Ambassador Silva will discuss Colombia’s political transformation, its booming economy, and opportunities for U.S. business in Colombia.
Colombia’s economy is growing at 5% annually. It is a regional leader and will host the VI Summit of the Americas in Cartagena on April 14-15.
President Obama will stay in Colombia after the Summit for a bilateral visit. Colombian President Santos is fond of saying that Colombian policy has evolved from security to prosperity for all of Colombia’s citizens. Read more.
