Luis Anaya is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies. Dr. Anaya’s research aims to create a better understanding of underdevelopment in Latin America. His areas of expertise include the Mexican Revolution and Mexican economic history. His most current project is titled «Panamericanism and Economic Development, 1928-1940: Private Associations, Financial Mechanisms and Sovereign States in the Promotion of Tourism between Mexico and USA». Luis Anaya received his Ph.D. in Mexican and Latin American History from El Colegio de México.
