Posteriormente  se procederá a  la inauguración de la exposición «Antonio y Antonieta Rivas Mercado: 200 años de pasión por México”.

La exposición explora la vida del autor de la Columna de la Independencia, Antonio Rivas Mercado y su hija Antonieta; destacada promotora cultural, a través de fotografías y objetos de época.

• January 15, 2011: Deadline for receipt of abstracts.
• February 15: Selection and communication of accepted papers.
• April 15: Deadline for receipt of final versions of papers.
• May 18 – 20, 2011: Congress
Requirements for abstracts
Those interested in participating should submit an abstract with the
title of the paper and the thematic in which enrolled. The abstract
should comprise between 1,500 and 2,000 words (5 pages), in Times
New Roman 12 point, with double spacing. Abstracts will be received
in English, Spanish and French. The proposal must be accompanied
by basic information about the author: full name, email, work or
study, position or career, exact address and telephone and a brief
biographical sketch of no more than 250 words.
Participation conditions
The organizing institutions are seeking funds to cover expenses of a
limited number of participants. However due to limited resources, the
organizing committee recommends those interested to seek the
pursuit of their own resources.
