II Jornada Académica: Independencia e Iglesia,
Morelia, Michoacán,  24 y 25 de septiembre 2009

El invitado especial el Dr. David. A. Brading, así como otros historiadores procedentes de distintas instituciones académicas de México se reunirán en la segunda de cuatro Jornadas Académicas. La primera se llevó a cabo con gran éxito en la Ciudad de México, organizada por la Universidad Pontificia de México. Las siguientes se llevarán a cabo en la ciudad de León y Guadalajara, próximamente. La Conferencia Episcopal Mexicana, además de estos encuentros académicos, está programando otros eventos litúrgicos, de los cuales a su tiempo le comunicaremos.

Gypsy-Barn- Dinner Dance
Valley Center San Diego Saturday, October 24th, to benefit the Music program at the Colegio La Esperanza.

We are looking for committee members and volunteers for the event, which is still in the formative stages.  She has the place and the musicians.  It should be a lot of fun.
