Industry executives, government officials, civil society representatives and others will meet in La Jolla beginning on the afternoon of May 10 through mid-day May 12 for the XIX annual Latin American Energy Conference.
The meeting is widely regarded as one of the the most influential points of encounter in the Western Hemisphere for discussion of critical energy issues. Speakers will focus on: China’s investment in Latin American energy; shifts in international energy production; natural gas prospects; new developments in renewables; the current investment climate for energy deals in the region; geopolitical trends; preparing for the Cancun climate change meeting; and, in-depth discussions of Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Bolivia, and other countries.
